Bio: Madame Butterfly and Mr. Bear are a folk-pop duo composed of Valery Mai and Vincenzo Mascolo. The project, started in Apulia (Italy) in the summer of 2010, is based on their own life experiences. After many live performances, in 2013 they released first single “What a Wonderful“, a catchy melody that hides a sense of irony against the brazen hypocrisy of a sugar-coated life, appreciated everywhere and especially in the U.S.A. (included in this EP, too).

In 2014, the band releases this new EP, called ”My Blue-Eyed guy”. The title-song sings about a desired moment that has never materialized, born from a meeting never repeated again. A wish became real about something finished, forever, without a real start. In this new EP, they reveal an irresistible bright and harmonic musical genre.

Note about this song: As you may already know, the name of the RadioSpia record label comes from an independent radio format. This song “I Don’t Wanna Trust“ was recorded live during the latest edition of the RadioSpia “The Final Party”, in 2011, in which the duo took part on stage with dozens of other musicians and visual artists. This track is a rare and important document.
